Privacy Policy

When you use Carve without an account, your CV data lives entirely in your browser's localStorage. We do not collect, transmit, or store it on our servers.

When you sign in with Google, we store: your email address, name, and profile picture (from Google OAuth). Your CV data is stored encrypted in your personal Carve Vault on Supabase.

When you use AI features (extraction, rewrite, ATS analysis, cover letters), your CV text is sent to Anthropic Claude for processing. We do not store the AI responses on our servers — they are returned directly to your browser.

We use minimal analytics to understand usage patterns. We do not use third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or sell data to advertisers.

Browser data (localStorage) persists until you clear it. Vault data persists until you delete your account. We do not retain deleted data.

You can export all your data at any time (PDF, JSON, Markdown). You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. We comply with applicable data protection laws.
